Winner of over a dozen awards for his pro bono activities over the years, he has also been a regular attorney volunteer for the Bar Association of San Francisco's Volunteer Legal Services Program, its Legal Advice and Referral Clinic, and San Francisco's Project Homeless Connect.
When he is not managing his successful criminal law practice and is between pro bono events, he is usually sailing on San Francisco Bay on a friend's boat or walking Jasper, his springer spaniel in various San Francisco parks.
