About Ms. Cianfrani
Rachael Cianfrani graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice. As a recipient of the Dean's List Scholarship, she attended Whittier Law School and graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctorate Degree. Upon graduation, Rachael worked as a Deputy Public Defender with the County of Riverside. She has taken many of her cases to jury trial which often results in a not guilty finding by the jury. With her counsel many of her clients are able to obtain favorable results including reduction of the charges, avoidance of sex registration requirements, or dismissals of the entire case.
In private practice Rachael has worked with two clients accused of capital murder - both facing the death penalty. She has spoken on radio about her experience representing a man freed from Death Row in San Quentin, and has authored a Legal Guide - Your Rights and Responsibilities if You Are Arrested in California.
Rachael has also lectured on numerous criminal defense topics including "Unlawful Searches and the 4th Amendment" and "When You Turn 18 - Knowing Your Rights". She has been recruited to speak at various High Schools through the Bar Association of San Francisco and was the lead attorney with the Lawyers in Schools program for at-risk High School Students.
